Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn was born in America. Her most famous role is Skyler White on the AMC show Breaking Bad, for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 and in 2014 in the category of Outstanding supporting actress in a Drama Series. Alongside her roles as Martha Bullock and Jean Ward as well, she was a part of The Practice. The actress was born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in the year 1968, Anna Gunn fell in love with acting during the Preparatory School she attended before her family moved to Ohio at the end of the 1970's. She was a student at Northwestern University to study theatre and was also a student at the British American Drama Academy. Anna was employed by the theater in the Chicago area for several years before trying her hand at television and film roles. Anna received her breakthrough in 1992 when she played Arden for 29 episodes of Down the Shore. Anna continued appearing in films and TV series such as Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and other shows until the end of the 1990's. She was then selected for The Practice as Jean Ward. Martha Bullock, a character which she played for two years in Deadwood's second season. She also starred as Skyler in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in the year 2008. Sully and Deadwood was also an integral part of her acting career. Gunn played in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production that was directed by David Schwimmer. The actress starred as Numbered Days, which is a four-part audio series that was released that will air in 2022. The love story between Walter White and his wife Skyler is the most prominent element of the narrative on Breaking Bad with the strained tension in their relationship, and eventually its demise echoing the same storyline of Walter White's final days of his life.
