Alana De La Garza, an amazing actress, has left a mark in the film industry. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and an Irish American mother, was born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 in 1976. De La Garza soon moved to Texas, where she studied the field of physical therapy at the University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Orlando Florida and took on different roles as an actor on local independent films, as well as worldwide commercials. She quickly found her passion to perform despite the minor parts. She moved from New York and in 2001 she got her first acting gig on the daytime soap opera All My Children as Rosa Santos. In the beginning of 2000, she appeared in small part for JAG Vegas and Two and a Half Men. The first time she had a major role in a series was the short-lived drama The Mountain. The character was Maria Serrano and De La Garza was lucky enough to star alongside some top TV actors including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. The character she's most well-known for is the A.D.A. character in Law & Order (2006). Connie Rubirosa. She was featured in 85 episodes. After a short time, her character moved onto Law & Order: LA. De La Garza's character was recognized with several nominations for the show, including Best Supporting Actress for Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She has also been awarded ALMA Award nods. In 2008, she received the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award in a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza was then chosen as a recurring character on CSI Miami. She played Marisol Deko as well as wife to David Caruso's character Horatio. She played Dr. Lena Solis, she was most recently seen on NBC's rather dark drama Do No Harm. It was pulled after just two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. The actress is born of Italian descent and has a younger brother Cory who is about 10 years younger than her. Milano was born into an extremely religious and conservative family. Milano started her acting professional career when she was just seven years old. Her babysitter took her along on an audition for acting. She was one of the four girls selected from among thousands of hopefuls. Milano is featured in TV commercials, off Broadway productions and Jane Eyre, the American premier of Jane Eyre.
